I just received some great news. Our Council, 17162, has been awarded the Star Council award and our plaque will arrive in about 3 months. I want to congratulate the officers, the members, our Worthy DD for a job well done. A special thank you goes out to our worthy FS, Chris Licata for staying on top of all of the paperwork and forms needed to make this happen. It is an especially hard job as he has taken on all of the paperwork responsibility of the Grand Knight as well! Great job Chris and great job to the whole council!
Congratulations also to our Worthy Chaplain, Father Rick, who was awarded Knight of the Year for our council as well. No priest out there does more for their council or cares about their council more than Father Rick!
