Cancelled Lector and Eucharistic Minister Training

In an abundance of caution, due to the uptick in the COVID 19 cases in Pinellas County, we are POSTPONING the meeting scheduled for 9 a.m. tomorrow.

This decision was not made hastily, but through prayer and discussion. It is our desire to include more people into our liturgies, however, for the safety of all, we want to wait and see how long the current uptick lasts, as well as the results of the new Pinellas County Ordinance regarding mandatory mask usage.

The staff will re-evaluate the decision in three (3) weeks to determine our next steps. Rest assured as soon as we feel it is safe to involve more parishioners, we will. We are as anxious as you are to get back to a more normal way of life and worship. We will keep you informed of our decisions and when we can reschedule this training.

It is our desire and prayer that you will accept this decision as one that keeps our parishioners, staff, and priests the safest at this time. Please also accept this decision as an act of charity in that you are sacrificing your desires to serve for the betterment and safety of our community.

May God continue to bless you and your families and keep them all safe during this unprecedented event.
