Blessed Sacrament COVID-19 Plan

Brothers and Sisters,

The Blessed Sacrament staff has every desire to assist parishioners during this unprecedented times. To help you navigate this crisis spiritually, we are instituting the following practices.

1. To ensure the safety of the staff and parishioners, and in accordance with state, local, and diocesan officials, all events, gatherings, and masses are cancelled until further notice.
2. We are committed to continually providing timely communications. We have decided that all official communications will go out through Facebook, My Parish App, and the website. Rest assured, we have a plan to reach out to those without internet access.
3. We are a community of faith that cherishes are opportunities to be together and worship together. In lieu of a physical gathering we are going to livestream the following on Facebook; Daily mass at 8am, including Sunday Mass, Evening Vespers at 6pm, the Angelus and Divine Mercy on Fridays at 3pm. This will hopefully provide you a sense of community and a moment of prayer.
4.  The Chapel will be open everyday from the hours of 10:00am – 7:00pm. The reduced hours allow us to sanitize the Chapel every evening. Please practice social distancing of 6 feet, and, please stay home if you have a fever, cough, or have been in contact with a COVID-19 patient.
5.  One of the main responsibilities of the parish is to provide sacraments. At this time Baptisms will not be performed unless it is an emergency. Anointing of the sick (last rites) will be performed on case by case and IAW the rules of the facility, please call the office for more information.
6. The priests are available for your spiritual needs. Please call the office to schedule appointments.
7. Funerals will be conducted as necessary, however, please note that it will be limited to a small number of attendees.
